Songs and lyrics get blamed for lots of things.

In May a coroner in Kent, England suggested American Emo band “My Chemical Romance” may have contributed to a suicide by an obsessed fan. And get this, in 2005 two researchers received a Nobel prize. Yes, the Nobel Prize for an analysis of U.S. radio play lists that revealed that as the amount of country music went up, so did the white suicide rate. Is it fair to blame a band?

Music is music. Dont blame a band for some kid offing themselfs. But I did have to laugh about the country music thing, because everytime my friend would play country i would scream "THIS MUSIC MAKES ME WANT TO SLIT MY WRISTS!!" And like.. i was just kidding, but honestly that made me giggle to myself a little bit..am i morbid?
