Too Hot?

I always thought that suicides were more likely in the winter, when it’s dark and cold. But a report in USA Today says just the opposite: That most suicides happen during July and August. Why would summer be more depressing than other seasons? Or does the time of year even matter when you’re depressed?

People are obsessed with statistics. Always trying to figure out the averages, the percentages, the majorities...I don't think depression or suicide have much to do with cold numbers. Those are emotions. Emotions, by definition, are not classifiable or organized. So why force them to be? Don't concentrate on the month it happened. Concentrate on the hurt that person felt.
